Description
The Me-262 was the first operational jet used in WWII. 100 mph faster than the P-51, it was deadly in the hands of experienced Luftwaffe pilots. The axial design of the turbine, while superior to the Allied Whittle design, had a short TBO (about 40 hours) due to metal fatigue so keeping these aircraft serviceable was a downside of the design. This model is not Cruver manufacture, but came to me from another collector. It is cast resin, has no model or manufacturer identification. Its cast in 1:72 scale. Wingspan 6 1/2" body 5 1/2". Its pretty.Winner pays actual shipping using paypal. and check out my other listing. New listings daily. thanks
