Rare M1 Garand Winchester WRA Numbered Rear Handguard Educational EDU GHD RS WD

Description

Extremely rare and hard to find early Winchester rear Handguard numbered on the inside. This one is numbered 240. Handguard is unmodified with just strikes from the op rod. Most believe these were used in the educational order Winchester builds of the first 500 Garands.
Handguard does not appear to have any major cracks but dents and dings from its use.

: I sell mostly old WWII style military accessories and M1 Garand / Carbine components and parts. Unless specifically noted in the Item Description section above, I have not installed these parts to check functionality, therefore there is no guarantee of form, fit or function of the part(s) in this Auction (Sold as is, for parts only). All parts should be checked out by a qualified Gunsmith before use. Photo's are taken either inside my house our outside and the color represented in the photo's is what my camera see's. You can expect to see a variation in color or finish once you receive due to the difference in your lighting. Some components I will use a Military spec gauge to show you the measurements. The gauge or tool is never included as part of the auction. Additionally, your gauge will most likely vary from mine. My gauge measurements are only shown to give a general idea of condition.
