Art Work & Commendation for 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment Insignia  Art work
measures 7" wide and 10" tall, hand painted on cardboard and signed by the soldier who designed the insignia - Sgt Andrew Sklivis.  A copy of his letter of commendation for winning the design competition is included and is dated 16 April 1943 - Camp Mackall, NC.    Art work is in very nice condition.  Very nice WWII Airborne collectible.  No reserve, so good luck.
