Description
This is a nearly exact reproduction of the "Emergency Medical Tag" booklet which was carried by all Army medics during WWII. The booklet was carried in the smaller of the two bags comprising the medic's field gear and was utilized to "tag" the wounded soldier with the nature of the wound and the treatment which was given. The tag was then removed from the booklet and tied with the attached string to the soldier's clothing (see close up below). The books are in new condition and are completely functional with 20 removable diagnosis tags and carbon paper which will leave a copy of the tag intact with the booklet after the tag is removed for placement on the soldier, just like the originals. Instructions for use of the tags are imprinted in the inside top cover of the book (see image below). This booklet is nearly impossible to find (the reason I reproduced it) and is a fraction of the cost a buyer would have to pay for an original. The buyer will have a five-day right of inspection and return privilege.
