    Description

Springfield Armory long channel stock . It has its` GHS and, small Ordnance Emblem cartouche stamps with it`s proof firing "P" stamp on the pistol grip area. It also has a faint "RRA" ;  Red River Arsenal stamp just below the small Ordnance wheel also, the Red River Arsenals` boxed  proof firing "P" on the pistol grip area. It still has its` very small " Q " at the beginning of the barrel channel and it still has the long channel at the fore end of the stock. There are still visible milling marks on the top flat surface of the stock including at the cut out for the op rod .  I have had this stock since 1995 and it has not been "collector messed with".   I will point out that Red River Arsenal handled this stock and I `ve pictured where the receiver over hangs on one corner also the palmel of the pistol grip is rounded. The toe is about flush with a butt plate ( the butt plate is not included ) . The stock seems denser than usual walnut and sounds dense when I strike my knuckle on it also, there are a few bullet tip marks on the right side of butt . Contact me  if you need more pics.  The shipping is free.
