Home Front: Defend America Saving Bank

Description

This is a  WWII home front savings bank, (5 x 4 x 1 /4 inches), made of aluminum.  The bank was made by Zell Products Inc. NY.    On one side of the bank is a leather type front with the Minuteman and states DEFEND AMERICA   Prepare Today For Tomorrow.  On the other side is a photograph of a U.S. Army officer in the Armor Corps, attached to the 5th Armor Division.   The bank is in excellent condition.
