BMX CroMoly Head Tube For 1" Bicycle Frame Building

For sale is a head tube for building a bicycle frame where the steerer tube of the fork being used has an OD of 1". It is a brand new, unused, unmodified head tube with little to no light surface rust or shop wear. It is made in the USA from thick wall 4130N Plymouth tube that has the center section CNC machined out to save weight while leaving material on the ends for added strength to support the headset frame cups. The chromium content of these head tubes is high enough to be an air hardening (high strength) steel. The length of these tubes is 101.5mm. The OD is 35/33mm. The ID is 28.95mm and has to be reamed to the proper diameter post welding to allow the headset cups to be pressed in.
