    Description

Antique Collins Firemans Axe From WW2 Victory Ship Firefighting Tool Richmond CA. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Remnants of pre 1925 paper Collins label from the King’s line of axes. Axe looks like it has never struck anything, pick is sharp as new, edge has no wear. Handle is in excellent condition. Looks like it has been in storage for almost a 100 years.
Handle stenciled Hunter Victory on both sides. The Hunter Victory was a cargo supply ship built in 1945 to supply troops ,during the end of WW2. Built in Richmond California, most likely was used during the Korean was and Vietnam. The ship has been scrapped or lost.
Excellent condition from top to bottom, head very slightly loose, no cracks . Some very light surface rust. Some paint loss as seen in photos. Remains of light blue paper label. I was able to find the label under the King’s line from Collins tool company. See Collin’s Pt.1- Yesteryear’s tools on internet search.
    Weighs 7 pounds total, 35 1/2” long
