A Night at the Opera (MGM, 1936). Fine+.
Spanish Title Lobby Card, Spanish Lobby Cards (5) (7.5" X 9.5"), Trimmed Spanish Title Lobby Card, & Trimmed Spanish Lobby Cards (8) (Approx. 7.25" X 9.25").
Ranked high as one of the best masterpieces performed by the manic trio, there's no shortage of laughs to be had in this rip-roaring comedy, its plethora of crazy antics and snappy jokes leaving audiences today howling just as loud as they did in 1935. Famous for its immensely quotable contract scene and impressive transformation of ship's cabin into a crammed clown car, this is by far one of the Marx Brother's most recognizable features to ever hit the big screen in terms of both dialogue and visuals. Paper for this hilarious title is always a popular draw among comedy fans, including this first-time offer, which comes with its original studio envelope. General wear among the cards includes edge wear, pinholes, small tears, and unobtrusive stains. Some of the cards have minor holes and chips, as well as surface scuffs. Several of the lobby cards are trimmed to the image or interior border, one of which has a moderate tear into the background. The trimmed title lobby card has an ink censorship stamp in the top right corner. Fine+.
