All wear items and fluids in the engine have been changed in the last 500 miles. That includes spark plugs, belts, valve springs, lifters, filters, coolant, oil, freon, etc. I wanted to make sure this truck has tons of life left for the next owner!
Front brakes were changed around 5k miles ago. A set of new rear rotors and pads will come with the truck as well. I didn’t have the electronic tool necessary to install them myself, so you’ll need to have a brake shop do the install, but there’s still plenty of pad left on the rears and no vibration from the rotors whatsoever.
Brand new Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT 285/45R22 tires were just installed on July 8th, 2021. Brand new windshield wipers installed, just in time for Arizona’s monsoon season.
The engine has been tuned conservatively to increase horsepower, torque, and throttle response. It really moves for such a big SUV!
I’ve already looked at comps on the market and have priced this Expedition very fairly considering it’s a Max and has the hard to find 302A package. If you’re looking at Expeditions in the Limited trim, you will quickly notice most have the basic halogen headlights with the ugly 20” wheels, or you have to pay -20k more to get the Platinum. This is an awesome sweet spot between the two with the desirable 22” wheels, LED headlights, and adaptive cruise control at a great price.
There have been two minor accidents in this vehicle. The first was with the previous owner, and I have no idea where it occurred because the shop did such a great job on the repair. The second occurred when my wife turned too sharply out of the driveway and scraped the mailbox on the right rear quarter. It was also repaired to OEM condition. The only remaining marks on the vehicle are a small door ding on the rear driver side door, which could easily be removed with PDR, and some very minor scrapes on the rear hatch where it made contact with the garage door when in the up position. Otherwise, it’s as you’d expect from a daily driven vehicle with 83k miles on it.
I am firm on the price and will ignore any offers for less. I don’t care if you “have cash in hand,” unless it’s k cash. The title is currently held by my bank, USAA.
