    Description

We've unearthed another television rarity....this time it's a 16mm Print of the unaired pilot of HARRY'S GIRLS from 1960!
All of the girls from this unaired pilot (Kris Garner, Marsha Rivers, and Ellen Mcrae) were replaced when the show went to series in 1963. Very little from this unaired pilot ended up appearing in the actual series. The only carry-overs from the pilot were Larry Blyden as Harry Burns of course and Victor Rietty. An episode with the same premise as this one was re-shot later with the new cast when the series was picked up by NBC and the episode was titled "The Director". This series was unique in that it had no laugh track, but even more significantly, it was filmed overseas.
Episode Synopsis: The girls audition for an unconventional Italian director known simply as Gabrielli. Gabrielli likes to hire unknowns and place them in very earthy circumstances. At one point he puts the girls into a scene involving a mud fight which is pretty sexually alluring.
Print is in good shape. No Vinegar Smell.  Episode is complete with opening and closing credits, runs approx. 29 minutes and comes mounted on a 1200ft. reel.
This film appears to be solidly in the public domain.
Don't miss your chance to pick up this rarity and bid now! We are always selling rare prints like this, so keep checking our listings.
